For the smooth function of the library the following rules are to be observed strictly:

1. In the beginning of each Academic session a student must collect a library card from his / her Class Teacher and affix a recent passport size photograph in full school uniform on the library card.
2. When a student losses his/her library card he/ she will be charged Rs 25/- for a new one.
3. Student may borrow one book at a time for the period of fortnight.
4. When books are returned rate a fine of Rs 5/- is charged per day for the book.
5. A book to be renewed must be brought to the library each time. They will not be otherwise renewed.
6. Reference book are for consultation only in the library. They are not issued.
7. If a student could not finish reading the borrowed book, it can be reissued from the library for another week.
8. Students should take good care of library books to avoid mutilation.
9. Library books can be issued and returned during library period of the class only and in any teaching period.
10. The librarian may recall your book at any time in case of urgency.
11. Library books are to be deposited atleast one week before the long vacations.

Books are treasures. Don't spoil them by making comments etc. in them. A fine will be imposed on the student for minor damage to a book. In case of major damage or loss of the book, the book will have to be replaced by a new one or the cost of the book will have to be deposited as per current market price, if ascertainable, failing which the Principal's discretion will have to be honoured as to its cost.
